Common questions about surveys, deliverables and working with contractors in the Bergen area.
Do you carry out construction or planting?
No. We produce plans and specifications. You hire a landscaper or builder, or we can suggest firms we have coordinated with on previous projects in Hordaland.
How long does a survey take?
Most residential visits take 60–90 minutes depending on plot size, slope and number of level changes to record.
Can you work from photos only?
For very small courtyards we sometimes produce a concept sketch from photos and dimensions you supply. Full planning packages normally require a site visit to check drainage and soil.
Do plans include building permit drawings?
Our drawings support planning discussions but are not architectural permit sets. Retaining walls above 1 metre or structures attached to the house may need separate engineering — we flag this during survey.

What file formats do you deliver?
PDF plans for printing, plus layered PDF or DWG on request for contractors who need CAD backgrounds.
